How to consider mahadasha if chandra kundali is predicting the life events better than lagna kundali.

My DOB 15-01-1977 time 13.05 place Patna. I feel that my chandra kundali is giving better personality and life events prediction. So if I take chandra Kundali as the main kundali then how to evaluate my mahadasha? For example, should shukra mahadha be taken as karak aur akaarak, if chandra is in vrishchik?
